The
CRS Program is the only direct service program that the National Coalition
Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) offers to survivors of domestic violence
who have been out of the abusive relationship for at least a year. The NCADV
works in partnership with three medical associations to assist survivors of
domestic violence who cannot afford the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
and dentistry needed to repair the injuries they have received from an
intimate partner or spouse. Facial plastic surgeons, cosmetic dentists and
dermatological surgeons from across the country volunteer their services to
assist survivors in removing the physical scars of abuse. |
